As required by the United States Department of Education, this serves as notice to the public of upcoming accreditation visits and an opportunity for written third-party comment. Written comment concerning accreditation qualifications for the institutions or programs listed below (i.e., determining whether a program appears to be in compliance with Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education [ACOTE®] accreditation standards or ACOTE accreditation policy) may be submitted no later than 20 days prior to the program’s scheduled on-site evaluation addressed to: Director of Accreditation, AOTA, 6116 Executive Boulevard, Suite 200, North Bethesda, Maryland 20852-4929. The comment letter should be sent by e-mail attachment to accred@aota.org.
Per ACOTE’s Policy on Third-Party Comment, AOTA accreditation staff will acknowledge receipt of the third-party comment and will copy the letter of comment to the relevant program director and on-site evaluation team. The individual making the third-party comment may request in writing to remain anonymous. AOTA staff will redact personal information contained within the document prior to forwarding the comment to the program director and the on-site evaluation team.
The following programs are scheduled for on-site evaluations in fall 2021. All programs will be evaluated under the 2018 ACOTE Accreditation Standards.
