This workshop will take place in New York, NY at Columbia University on April 29/2019 from 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM.
In August 2018, the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE®) adopted new accreditation standards for doctoral-degree-level occupational therapy programs, master’s-degree-level occupational therapy programs, and associate-degree-level occupational therapy assistant programs and approved new Standards for baccalaureate-degree-level occupational therapy assistant programs. Programs will be required to comply with the new 2018 Standards by July 31, 2020.
ACOTE is sponsoring regional one-day workshops to assist academic programs. This workshop will take place in New York, NY at Columbia University.The one-day workshop will include:
- An overview of the accreditation system and reporting requirements.
- A review of all changes in the new accreditation Standards.
- Examples on how to demonstrate compliance with the new Standards.
